An artist is a person who practices a creative form of expression.
How did you discover the Gateway Arts District?
My visual art specialist job at M-NCPPC included working on the early development of the arts district, attracting artists as tenants, producing art programs for local artists and children, managing and equipping the Brentwood Art Center, now named the Brentwood Arts Exchange
at the Gateway Arts Center.

If you could give your younger self a piece of advice about being an artist, what would it be?
I advise that all artists accept that art making is a form of self flagellation.
What drives you?
My "drive"? -Getting great results.
What is your greatest challenge as an artist?
My greatest challenge is justifying my art expenses.
What are you working on right now?
Right now, I am thinking to create my self-portrait
